“We are our stories.  We compress years of experience, thought, and emotion into a few compact narratives that we convey to others and tell to ourselves.” - Daniel Pink A Whole New Mind

Digital Storytelling Resources

Digital Storytelling - Wes Fryer Great resources!

Center for Digital Storytelling "The Center for Digital Storytelling is a California-based non-profit 501(c)3 arts organization rooted in the art of personal storytelling. We assist people of all ages in using the tools of digital media to craft, record, share, and value the stories of individuals and communities, in ways that improve all our lives."

Story Corps  "Since 2003, almost 30,000 everyday people have shared life stories with family and friends in our StoryBooths. Each conversation is recorded on a free CD to share, and is preserved at the Library of Congress. Millions listen to our broadcasts on public radio and the web. StoryCorps is the largest oral history project of its kind."

Our Stories "The Our Stories™ project helps people share the stories of their lives, no matter where they live or how their stories unfold. We're providing resources to create and share personal stories from all over the world, starting with children in developing countries who are using One Laptop per Child (OLPC) computers or those who are working with UNICEF radio producers to record and share interviews."

The Story-Centered Curriculum

Special thanks to Katie Christo for collaborating with me to gather these resources.
